Rural residency tracks benefit residents by providing hands-on experience with diverse and complex cases, developing a broad skill set, and fostering strong patient and community relationships, which can lead to increased job satisfaction and improved patient care in underserved areas.
Our Program’s Mission Statement is: “Wayne Memorial Community Health Centers Family Medicine Residency Program exists to grow exceptional Family physicians. Driven by a commitment to the highest quality patient-centered medical care, we are devoted to training compassionate physicians who are sensitive to the needs of rural and underserved areas.
