Group Counseling
Financial Assistance
Affordable care options and help enrolling in coverage are available.Group counseling supports validation of one’s feelings and experiences and creates a sense of safety and meaningful ties with others. It also provides the opportunity to gain new perspectives and coping skills and teaches how to integrate these skills into everyday life. Various group therapy sessions are offered. Most groups meet weekly and consist of 6 – 10 participants. Sessions are moderated by therapists who have an interest and expertise in the discipline.

Monday
12:30pm Fall Into Wellness Therapy Group (limited 8-week session)
Tuesday
11:00am Coping Skill Group (very limited availability)
Wednesday
10:00am – Caregivers Support Group (bi-weekly)
Thursday
10:30am – Recreational Therapy Group (only held on the last Thursday of each month)
2:30pm – Grief Group (weekly)
In order to participate in group therapy, you must be an existing patient of the Center and recommended by one of our therapists, psychiatrists or nurse practitioners. Please call 570-253-8219, Option 1 to discuss arranging an intake appointment.
