About the Provider

As a primary care physician for the Honesdale VA Outpatient Clinic, Dr. Mowatt offers eligible veterans access to a continuum of care from prevention to diagnosis and treatment, to appropriate follow-up and referral. Patients needing specialty care are referred to the VA Medical Center in Wilkes-Barre, PA.

Prior to joining Honesdale VA in 2024, Dr. Mowatt was practicing with Geisinger in Central PA. She began her medical career at the Loyalsock Family Practice of Susquehanna Health System in Williamsport, PA, where she remained for five years as a family practice physician and later Medical Director. Much of her career was spent as a solo practitioner at Keystone Family Practice in Hawley, PA. During this time she also worked weekends at the former Lake Region Urgent Care. Dr. Mowatt then transitioned to USP Canaan Federal Penitentiary for more than seven years.

Dr. Mowatt has a longstanding connection to the Honesdale area both personally and professionally.
