Wayne Memorial Community Health Centers (WMCHC) is a progressive multi-specialty group made up of primary care, women’s health, pediatrics, behavioral health, dental and podiatric offices in northeastern Pennsylvania. We have 19 sites serving nine communities across four counties.

Our organization employs over 400 individuals including physicians, dentists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, certified nurse midwives, licensed behavioral health therapists, administrative and office support staff. WMCHC is clinically affiliated with Wayne Memorial Health System.

Dental Assistant Trainee Program

The WMCHC Dental Assistant Training Program, in partnership with the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, prepares you with the skills and knowledge to succeed as a Dental Assistant.

Medical Assistant Training Program

The WMCHC MA Training Program combines full-time employment with online learning and hands-on instruction, giving aspiring medical assistants the skills and experience to succeed.

Does WMCHC offer sign on bonuses?

Does WMCHC offer tuition reimbursement?

WMCHC employees who wish to pursue further education may be offered tuition reimbursement based on a number of factors including: length of service, alignment of desired education with current job openings and established career advancements paths within the organization, as well as degree of difficulty in recruiting for open positions.

Does WMCHC offer loan forgiveness for Physician and Advanced Practice Provider positions?

Because we are an FQHC in northeast Pennsylvania with a focus on the underserved in a Health Professional shortage area, our physicians and advanced practice providers are eligible to apply for loan reimburse through the following avenues: 

National Health Service Corps: 

Awarded recipients receive funds to repay their outstanding, qualifying, educational loans.

NHSC loan repayment funds are exempt from federal income and employment taxes.

Full-time service: Up to $50,000 for a two-year initial term

Half-time service: Up to $25,000 for a two-year initial term

Physicians, Dentists, and Psychologists:  Up to $80,000 full-time, up to $40,000 half-time

Other Practitioners:  Up to $48,000 full-time, up to $24,000 half-time

How long will you keep my application on file?

If you do not receive a telephone call from our HR Department to set up an interview, your application and resume will be kept on file for one year to be considered for future open positions.
