About the Provider

Sara Wentz, LPC, is a licensed professional counselor who typically works with children and adolescents – but will also work with adults. Not only does she use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and trauma informed approaches, but she also pulls from mindfulness approaches and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) if the client is in need. While working at Honesdale Behavioral Health Center, Sara also volunteers at the Victims Intervention Program (VIP) which has aided in her knowledge of advocating for those who need support and guidance. Sara joined Wayne Memorial Community Health Centers in 2019.
