About the Provider
Charles Kovalchick, DO, was raised in the Tunkhannock area. He has been practicing medicine since 1999. After serving in the military in North Dakota and pursuing his medical career in the Hanover, PA area, he returned to Northeastern Pennsylvania in 2018.
As a family physician, Dr. Kovalchick treats patients ranging from newborn to geriatric for routine exams, management of chronic diseases and immunizations. He also sees walk-in patients at the Hamlin Family Health Center.
Dr. Kovalchick is passionate about volunteerism and missionary work. He has donated his medical expertise as a physician at a homeless shelter as well as completed several short-term missionary trips in Honduras as part of a medical brigade.
