About the Provider
As a pediatrician, Melissa Jones, DO, sees patients from birth to age eighteen years old. In addition to diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses, she monitors childhood growth and development through routine physicals and immunizations.
Dr. Jones has experience utilizing Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine/Treatment (OMT) for plagiocephaly (misshapen head) and torticollis (tight neck muscles) in babies. She may also incorporate OMT for conditions such as colic and feeding problems in newborns, headaches, muscle aches/strains, mild musculoskeletal injuries/pain and sinus problems.
Dr. Jones has been a pediatrician since 2017. Prior to returning to Northeastern Pennsylvania and joining Wayne Memorial Community Health Centers in 2023, she practiced in Waterbury and Greenwich, Connecticut.
