About the Provider
As an obstetrician/gynecologist, Sheila Hockman, DO, treats women across the lifespan. She facilitates births at the New Beginnings Birthing Suites Wayne Memorial Hospital in Honesdale, as well as performs pregnancy related and gynecological surgeries ranging from C-sections to laparoscopic hysterectomies. With a career spanning more than 20 years, Dr. Hockman spent close to 10 years in private practice providing services to women living in the states of West Virginia, South Carolina and Wisconsin. Just prior to joining WMCHC in 2024, she treated patients in Indiana and Pennsylvania for several health systems, including Lehigh Valley Physicians Group, Perry County Memorial Hospital and Ascension St. Vincent’s.
