About the Provider

As a board-certified family physician, James G. Cruse, MD, treats patients three years old to adults. He focuses on the management of chronic diseases such as hypertension, diabetes and asthma. Dr. Cruse performs a complete range of diagnostic and treatment services including acute conditions, EKG, joint injections, suturing of minor lacerations and physicals (school, drivers and CDL). In addition to English, Dr. Cruse is fluent in Spanish.

Dr. Cruse was born and raised in Louisiana. He lived in the Atlanta, GA area after entering medical school and practiced family medicine in Cumming, GA for 16 years. He joined Wayne Memorial Community Health Centers in 2014. He currently serves as the organization’s Chief Medical Officer.
