The WMCHC Dental Assistant Training Program through our partnership with the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine is a leading educational initiative that equips you with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed as a Dental Assistant.
With our no cost program you’ll gain essential skills through online learning and clinical training at one of our local sites.
Earn while you learn
As an accepted participant, you’ll continue your education while working at one of our two dental centers, and here’s the best part: You’ll earn while you learn! You’ll get paid during your free training. Even better, after your training is complete, you’re guaranteed a job with WMCHC. A 12-month commitment is required to qualify for no-cost training.

What are the requirements for the program?
Acceptance in the University of Pittsburg School of Dental Medicine -Dental Assistant Training Program is required. Once your application is approved, you’ll be matched with WMCHC as your clinical site. WMCHC and the University work together for your successful placement. Is there really no cost?
Yes! Begin your dental career with no debt! Program fees, books, and certification exams are provided at no cost to enrolled participants. In order to qualify for no cost training all trainees are required to work for WMCHC in one of our dental offices for one (1) year after training.
Do I get paid while I am being trained?
Absolutely. Enrolled participants will receive a wage while completing training.
Am I guaranteed a job upon completion?
Graduates are placed in open Dental Assistant positions at either our Honesdale or Lords Valley dental centers, with placement based on both your location and operational needs.
